Each project starts with a free consultation to discuss study design, sample type, panel choices, and estimated timeline. We offer the following two options for Olink studies:

Full Service inclusive of all reagents

• Target-48 Panels Human Cytokine panel, Human Immunosurveillance panel, and Mouse Cytokine panel are stocked by the Core. 
• All reagents and consumables are provided by the Core. 
• The Investigator will load samples (at least 10 µL volume) onto 96-well PCR plates with aluminum seal or PCR strips with caps. Sample randomization is recommended. Sample loading by Core staff will incur an additional charge. 
• The Investigator will submit aliquoted samples and a manifest (in the provided excel template). 
• The timing and condition of sample transfer (with wet ice vs. dry ice) will be confirmed with Investigator during the study consultation. 
• For studies that do not fill the entire plate, the Core will facilitate combining samples with other studies without additional charges, although this process may delay study initiation as wait time may vary.
• Data analysis including quality control will be performed using Olink Signature Software. Data will be delivered in .csv and .xls format. Data will be archived by the Core for one year. 

Service only (Olink kits provided by Investigator)

• Target-48 Neurodegeneration panel, customized Olink Flex panels, and Target-96 panels are not stocked by the Core. Investigators are required to order and receive the reagent kits directly from Olink. 
• Olink reagent kits are not included in the service-only rates. 
• The Investigator must provide sufficient number samples to fill the entire plate (88 samples for Target-96; 40 samples for Target-48 and Olink Flex panels) before the study can start.  
• The Investigator must transfer all components of the reagent kits to the Core in the proper storage conditions. All documents including certificate of analysis should also be provided to the Core. 
• The Investigator will load samples (at least 10 µL volume) onto 96-well PCR plates with aluminum seal or PCR strips with caps. Sample randomization is recommended. Sample loading by Core staff will incur an additional charge.
• Data analysis including quality control will be performed using Olink Signature Software. Data will be delivered in .csv and .xls format. Data will be archived by the Core for one year.

2. Target-48 Human Immunosurveillance panel (40 samples per plate; absolute quantification)

3. Target-48 Mouse Cytokine panel (40 samples per plate; absolute quantification)
4. Target-48 Human Neurodegeneration panel (40 samples per plate; absolute quantification)
   • Investigators must order Target-48 Human Neurodegeneration panel directly from Olink.
5. Olink Flex panel (Select up to 31 analytes from ~200 proteins; 40 samples per plate; absolute quantification)
   • Flex panels are designed by Investigator online via Olink Insight and ordered directly from Olink. Panel construction and delivery typically require 4 to 6 weeks. 
6. Target-96 panels (88 samples per plate; Relative quantification only) 
   • Pre-designed panels are available for Cardiovascular, Immuno-Oncology, Neurology, Oncology, Inflammation, and Biological Process. Please refer to Olink website for details of each panel. Investigators must order Target-96 panels directly from Olink.
