Senior Staff Scientist: Division of Developmental Medicine and Rosamund Stone Zander and Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center

The Division of Developmental Medicine and Rosamund Stone Zander and Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center at Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a full- or part-time Senior Staff Scientist to conduct research assessments of studies in the Human Neurobehavioral Core Service. The Human Neurobehavioral Core Service (HNBCS) provides centralized and efficient behavioral assessment services for clinical and translational research studies within Boston Children’s Hospital. Services provided in the Core include consultations with senior faculty and guidance on study conceptualization and design, grant development, IRB protocol development, battery selection, and phenotypic characterization, including direct observation, assessment, and parent-reported measures. In addition to conducting research assessments, the psychologist will provide training and supervision to research assistants within the HNBCS, as well as collaborate in preparing scientific papers and presentations as needed.

Applicants must possess a Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology prior to assuming the position and have completed two to three years post-doctoral experience. Completion of APA-approved doctoral programs and internships is required.

Pay Range

Exempt Roles:

  • $95,000 - $125,000 Annual Base Salary

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
