The SmallWonders research team works in close collaboration with the Neonatal Hemodynamics Research Centre and the Benderson Family Heart Center at Boston Children’s Hospital to advance physiologic phenotyping and precision diagnostics for infants with cardiopulmonary instability. Partnerships with pulmonary hypertension, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and pulmonary vein stenosis programs integrate longitudinal clinical data, imaging, and hemodynamic assessments to better define disease trajectories and therapeutic response. Collaboration with the Morton Lab strengthens translational discovery by linking bedside physiology with mechanistic and experimental approaches. In parallel, work with the Fetal Neonatal Neuroimaging and Developmental Science Center enables integration of advanced neuroimaging and developmental outcomes, ensuring that cardiopulmonary precision strategies are aligned with long-term neurodevelopmental health.
