The Arnett Lab is currently enrolling 7–12-year-old children with moderate to severe ADHD to participate in a clinical trial testing the safety and effectiveness of a nonpharmaceutical intervention, called tRNS (Transcranial Random Noise Stimulation). This is part of a multisite clinical trial sponsored by Innosphere.
General information about participation
- Patients wear the tRNS device on their head which gives off gentle electrical stimulation to target specific regions of the brain while the child’s attention is maintained with an engaging software game.
- Participants will undergo the 20-minute study treatment for 10 days during a two-week period at our Brookline or Peabody site.
