LCN's Community Mission
The Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience are aligned with the Department of Pediatrics' community mission to engage communities in research to improve outcomes. We strive to achieve this mission by:
- sharing our research findings with the public
- educating the public on evidence-based interventions
- consulting physicians and families about their questions around neurodevelopment to help guide our research
- engaging the community with science in a fun, accessible way
- making ourselves a trusted, visible resource by regularly tabling at local community events
