The Mentoring Committee aims to help postdocs to develop mentoring skill sets, and explore the world of mentorship within the Boston Children's Hospital postdoc community and beyond. The committee works together to identify mentoring opportunities for postdocs to become mentors to other young scientists, and connecting mentors with mentees through events that promote knowledge exchange and personal growth. The mentoring committee also organizes opportunities for postdocs to grow professionally via mentoring initiatives with academic and industry professionals. Members have the opportunity to expand their mentorship networks, gain leadership and mentorship skills, as well as make a significant and positive influence on the development of young scientists and the future of research.
