Research Background

Alessandra M. Ferraro received her MD from University of Rome “Sapienza”, Italy. She joined the Cardiology Department at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2017 where she is currently working as a Research Fellow. Her research focuses on 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional pediatric echocardiography, with particular interest in speckle tracking echocardiography and 3-dimensional cardiac volumes quantification.

Alessandra is a Board Member of the BCH Postdoc Association since March 2021 and she is part of the Career Development Committee of the Postdoc Association. Alessandra notes interest in cooking, traveling, photography, and hiking.
