Dr. Shah's research focuses on identifying clinical predictors of pneumonia in the pediatric population. The findings of her studies have provided clinicians with accurate predictors of pneumonia and have helped guide judicious use of chest radiography. Most recently, she conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis published in the Journal of the American Medical Association to determine clinical factors associated with the diagnosis of pneumonia in children.
