Jean Emans' research has encompassed adolescent health, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and medical education. Special emphases include: Reproductive endocrinology, including menstrual disorders (amenorrhea, PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding), contraception, and vulvovaginal problems as well as the development of an Innovative web-based curriculum in adolescent health for primary care physicians.
