Dr. Qiu's research focuses on traumatic brain injury and stroke. Dr. Qiu and his colleagues are investigating the mechanisms of injury-related cognitive dysfunction and neurodegeneration and developing biomarkers to diagnose severity of injury and predict prognosis. His lab is also interested in exploring approaches to treating traumatic brain injury and stroke.
