Benefits for Participants

  • Participate in the opportunity to develop the high-level professional and relational abilities necessary to create interprofessional leadership and professionalism at the individual and organizational level, along with joyful practice, resilience, team functioning, and collaboration
  • With a committed cohort of interprofessional colleagues, address critical questions currently facing health education programs and leadership
  • Join a community of 10 - 12 faculty education leaders from at least three professions
  • Enhance reflective capacities and the ability to use these in teaching, leadership, and in becoming an effective change agent in the post-COVID era
  • Explore a wide range of challenges including educational and practice reforms related to community norms and standards, interprofessional collaboration, and organizational leadership
  • Enhance teaching skills and role modeling overall, and in leadership, interprofessional education and collaboration, teamwork, communication skills, humanism and professionalism
  • Become part of a local and national alumni group of faculty participating this project

Program Structure

  • Participants will be part of a learning group of 10 - 12 clinical and education faculty from at least three professions who will meet for ongoing faculty development sessions.
  • Participants will meet together for 1 ½ hour sessions 2 - 3 times each month for 17 sessions
  • Sessions will take place virtually via zoom. The option for some live sessions will be based on the status of the pandemic and safety first, and the comfort of the group members.
