Vitor is a fourth-year medical student at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, with a great passion for neuroscience and previous experience in clinical research and statistical data analysis. Vitor joined Tamilia's lab in January 2024, where he worked on several projects collaborating with the clinical neurophysiology and neonatology groups at Boston Children's Hospital.

His main research in Dr. Tamilia's lab at the FNNDSC involves the development of a predictive model for assessing the outcomes of corpus callosotomies through preoperative EEG network analysis. Other projects include predicting drug-resistant epilepsy through EEG and assessing babies' feeding behavior using electromyography (EMG) data. His interests involve neurosurgery, neurology and clinical research.
