Silvia earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, from “Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma” in 2022. During her studies, she participated in a student exchange in 2021 at “Universitat Internacional de Catalunya” in Barcelona, Spain. She extended her stay until 2022 for an internship, where she worked on research involving a smart portable device for cervical diagnosis and treatment.
Since October 2024, she has been working in Dr. Tamilia’s lab to prepare her final master thesis. Her project is focused on computational methods to predict drug-resistance in pediatric patients with epilepsy using scalp EEG data records at the onset of their epilepsy.
