Maria Stella De Grandis, BSc
Maria Stella obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2022 in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome (Italy). During her bachelor’s studies, she conducted research on eye-tracking technology, which led to the publication of an article in the scientific magazine “I Quaderni della Sicurezza AIFOS”. In 2023, she advanced her education by enrolling in a master’s program in Biomedical Engineering.
Since October 2024, she has been part of Dr. Tamilla’s laboratory, where she is currently working on her master’s thesis in Biomedical Engineering. Her project focuses on the use of machine learning and computational models to improve the treatment of epilepsy in children. Her academic interests lie in the field of neurology, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative diseases and brain disorders.
