• Workstation storage is limited to 30 days
• No additional work is needed from user to auto copy images/data from workstation to CFIC SMB share.
• CFIC SMB share storage is 50 tb of high speed replicated storage and limited to 6 months.
• Google drives are meant for long term storage of files. 
• CFIC E2 share is 2tb in size and meant for temporary use to hold files while software on the cluster computer uses them. 

Drive Connection Instructions

1. Connect to VPN or be connected to bch intranet network

2. Map drive: for drive path use \\rc-fs.tch.harvard.edu\cfic on Windows and smb://rc-fs.tch.harvard.edu/cfic if on Mac

3. Use chboston\chxxxxxx  where xxxxxx as your ID number and your childrens password as your password when prompted.
