Brain Networks

We examine structural connectivity and network topology using individual primary gyral pattern-based nodes, overcoming the limitations of an atlas- based approach. We assess global (short- and long-association and interhemispheric fibers) and regional white matter connectivity and performed graph theoretical analysis using gyral pattern node parcellations (Im et al., Altered white matter connectivity and network organization in polymicrogyria revealed by individual gyral topology-based analysisNeuroimage 2014).

slOur inter-gyral connectivity method has shown different disease effects on short- and long-range connections (Im et al., Neuroimage 2014; Im et al., Cereb Cortex 2016; Grant et al., Cereb Cortex 2018; Papadelis et al., Neuroscience 2019).

rcWe also examine rich-club and subnetwork properties of brain connectome using diffusion and rs-functional MRI (Chung et al., Sci. Reports 2019).
