Sungmin You is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Fetal Neonatal Neuroimaging Developmental Science Center (FNNDSC) at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He obtained his Ph.D. (2021) in Biomedical Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea.  He has expertise in developing and optimizing deep learning models for medical data. During his doctoral studies, he endeavored at applying advanced deep learning techniques on various medical datasets such as for mortality prediction or epilepsy patient monitoring. In FNNDSC, he is focusing on developing state-of-the-art deep learning-based methods for processing and analysis of brain MRI, especially models for the surface-based analysis of the fetal brain.
